Brown water coming from 125lts hot water boiler.
Installation is in copper and all galvanised fittings have been replaced by copper ones. A slight browish water comes from the tap even after these modifications. Help

Removing fittings and valves and then refitting commonly causes sediment to be stirred up. Drain and flush the boiler water-I assume it was off to refit-with some fast flowing water and then refill and see if that doesn't work.

I have personally flushed the boiler twice in a week, but still after that I was surprised to note that the water is still slightly brown in the morning.do you think that the fact that the installation which is in copper, installed some ten years back could be the reason for that? Thanks for the help.

When you flushed the boiler did the water run clear? You did FLUSH it under pressure and not simply drain it didn't you?
Old galvanized pipes build up rust in the pipe walls. If they are disturbed your water will be brown until the pipes are flushed clean. Give it some time and let me know if it continues. Good luck, Tom
