I have 4 fingernails that are pulling away
I have 4 fingernails that are pulling away from the nail beds. My two thumb nails and the 3rd and 4th fingernails of my right hand. I have been to a dermatologist and he had me using thermal and peroxide treatment but after a year my old nail has not fallen off and the new nail has not grown in. He told me it was going to take longer but is there anything else I need to do. Also, the doctor said that it is something chemical but I am using gloves to clean now and it still hasn't improved. He said it is not anything that I am lacking or need in my body. I am even using a product called Varisi for healthy nails which has citrus extracts but it doesn't seem to be working either after 6 weeks. Please help me as I am going crazy. Please get back with me with any information or anything I can do to improve my nails.
    Thanks,
    Linda Turman

There are many factors that causes this, such as dry nails, regular exposure to harsh chemicals, and lack of certain vitamins and minerals in your diet. It could also be fungal infection which makes the nails fall out. Since you're under your doctor's supervision, it would be best to consult him/her about treatments.
