I have a 7 year German Shepard with in the past two weeks he has not eaten. Every thing I try he turns his nose at Ive tried lean diet like vet suggested.nothing is working.I have spent 600.00 dollars in testing they can't find any thing in X Rays or blood work I am vary concerned he went from 114 lbs to 93 lbs please help!!

Does he have any other symptoms? Is he drinking and urinating? Not the best thing for him, but does he turn his nose up at human food? Is he active or trying to be active?

Did anything change in his environment such as moving, death of a playmate, someone in the household moving out or in, has it been extremely hot, etc. Was he ill before this? Could he have swallowed something that might not show up on an x-ray?

I would seek a second opinion from another vet. That seems like a pretty drastic drop in weight. Have you considered trying boiled hamburger or chicken with rice?
