I recently purchased a gibson AC Unit without a pump. Is it possible to install a heat pump with the unit I purchased.

A heatpump is the outdoor unit so if you bought a ac unit then you have not heatpump

If you say had gas heat and purchased a heat pump, then your system would be considered dual fuel.

Since I don't have an outside AC unit with a heat pump, will my electric bill be higher that usual in the summer and winter? The AC unit I replaced had a heat pump?

Should be the same in summer or less, but the winter without heatpump will be higher
