    Craftsman Lawn Tractor Trouble shooting
    I have a Craftsman 15.5 HP lawn Tractor Model 917.270613. It will start when the brake is depressed, but when the brake is released or try to engage the mower blades the engine shuts off. What would casuse this problem?

    Hi,
    Sounds as if it has a problem with the seat switch(operator presence) and does not "know" that the seat is occupied.
