How to wire for a 100 amp service to a garage from a 200amp service location
I have a 400 amp service that is attach to my house and I going to be putting in a garage about 200 hundred feet away from the main service panel, I would like to know what size wire to use for that length.

Before you can ask the question regarding wire size you need to do a calculated load for the garage.

You size your feeder off the calculated load.

You need to be aware that you need a grounding system at the remote building

The feeder from the main service panel to the sub panel, must be a four wire feeder.

But please get the calculated load for the garage before going any further.
