1995 Honda Accord may not start
I have a 1995 Honda Accord SE. About 6 months ago I started having problems starting the car. Once the car started, it would run with no problems. This initially happened once every couple of weeks and when it happens, I would let the car sit for awhile and it would start later. It now happens every day and it seems like it doesn't want to start at all. It is getting a spark but I don't think it is getting any fuel. If I put some fuel in the air intake I can get a hit but it will not start. Any suggestions?

Because of the age of the vehicle, I would go over the whole electrical system and likely replace spark plugs (NGK only), distributor cap, rotor, igniter, coil, and spark plug wires. I would also replace the main relay. Many times, complete new distributors can be purchased on EBay for Hondas for around $110. Also, make sure to replace the fuel filter.

Read the ignition troubleshooting sections and fuel filter replacement section below:

Performing the tests outlined should indicate where the problem is. At least answer the 3 basic diagnostic questions. Even though it says for Honda Civic, most of the tests apply to your Accord. Remember, 90% of "crank but won't start" situations are electrical-related.

You may check the fuel pump relay...

If you leave the key on for a long time, its like it warms up and gives power to the main relay and then it will start, I used a test light @ the main relay at the black and yellow wire, with the key on and seen that the wire had no power until later the light came on and then it started. I replaced the main relay and it didn't fix the problem. I think it's the computer are a relay other then the main relay.
