I have a 13 year old Shih Tzu who just stopped eating. The vet gave her med's, and they have hydrated her, but to no avail. She turns her nose up at everything. I have tried baby food just to get a little food into her, but she fights with everything she has not to eat. She is still drinking, but is becoming weaker and weaker by the day.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried wet food, or boiled hamburger or chicken with rice? Has the vet advised you on what she can eat? How long has she been sick for? 13 is a pretty good age for Shih Tzu's. It be coming close to her time.
