1990 crx si no computer led, cranks, but no start
I am at my wits end. I will nutshell what is going on real quick. I recently purchased a 90 crx si one owner, 141K mile car that has sat for about 1.5yrs. I replaced the battery, drained the gas, put plugs in and tried to start. Car turns over, but no go. I then verified no spark, so I said hey must be the igniter. New dizzy and 3 seperat ICM's and still no go. So then bought a used main relay, (mine had one obvious cracked conection) no go. Checked the computer and no codes. NO Anything. Does not show the single Hey I'm alive blip. So I got a eBay pm6 computer. Same thing. I do not hear the fuel pump, or any type of click when the key is in any position, could this be a second bad main relay? The Check engine light never goes off while cranking. I have never been this lost on a old Honda, I would love any ideas. Map sensor? Loose nut under the hood? (me) j/k Help!

Read the ignition troubleshooting sections below:

    https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/cars-t...ons-46563.html

First, check all under-dash and under-hood fuses with a test light or DMM. Pay particular attention to the ACG (S) (ALT) fuse, which controls power to the main relay and ECM. Second, clean the main ECM ground on the thermostat housing. Third, perform the K-Test, to ensure the computer is good. Fourth, since you have already replaced the main relay and ECM, check the ignition switch and harness.

If you follow my tests, you WILL solve your problem. I consider the ignition troubleshooting section the best anywhere on Civics.

brknbike, what specifically was wrong with your car?

The, ( I believe ) #2 fuse was blown, I must have overlooked it... I was getting a good signal to the fuel pump, but no spray at the line on the filter. The fuel pump turned out to be bad, and I also installed a new tank at the same to prevent future contamination since the car sat for some time. The #2 fuse was labeled "start signal" if that was'nt just obvious enough... Thanks Again! - brknbike

Cool. Your Civic should have 200K miles left in it. I hope you keep it going.
