I realize you are trying to help but this is totally inadequate legal advice (and you are posting on a legal thread).

Get tested for what and how and then what? I'm sure OP would like to know. The rest of us already know but we didn't ask the question.

Have you watched Maury's TV show?
They can determine your being the father
By taking a swab from your cheek and analyzing it.
Testing is 99+% accurate and are used by the Courts
To determine whether you are, or are not the child's father.

PLEASE don't use TV shows as the basis for legal advice.

"They" can determine who the father is BUT those results are only admissible in Court when the testing lab is recognized by that particular
Court. The testing is "usually" inadmissible because you could swab ANYONE'S "cheek" and claim it's your DNA. The test has to be administered by a Court recognized facility.

I realize you are trying to help but on the legal boards we take great pride in our answers and we are all experienced or have great research skills or a legal education.

(I'm amazed anyone watches the Maury Show - at least Judge Judy is good TV!)

Now I'm lost - in what State does the Attorney General's office have a part in this?
