How can I find out what place filed a past tax return for 2006 and 2008?
I need a copy of my 2006 and 2008 tax returns for court in less then 2 weeks and don't have time to wait 2 weeks- 90 days to get the return but I can't remember what place filed my taxes, I've always gone through Jackson Hewitt in the past but they were no help just said that they haven't been in my area for years. Any Ideas?

You can call the IRS and they should have an electronic copy on file. They can see who signed it and tell you.

If you call the IRS at 1-800-829-1040 and explain the problem, they probably will FAX you a copy of the tax transcripts you need, often on the same day.
