Can an Ex just move out with no notice and not be responcible for anything?
Basically it's the typical breakup story... but I can afford to be the one that gets screwed with all the rent because of it. We had a disagreement, he moved out right then, and now I want to know if he is still responcible for paying half the rent. He was on the lease however I don't believe that the landlord ever followed through with having him sign it. All the utilities are in his name. Is there anything that I can do legally to make sure that my kids and I don't bite the bullet for him?

You need to file divorce paperwork and seek temporary support for yourself and your children from the Courts. This will force the husband to pay even though he is not living there.
