I have 2 bathrooms upstairs that both drains connect at the vent "T". I have augered out both drains up to the "T" and have poured hot water down the vent. Everything seams to be clear up to this point. I have intalled a clear tube on one of the sinks after the trap. I run the water and the sink fills up but there is a small trickle of water going through the clear tube. Should the water not fill this clear tube up and the other pipes before filling the sink. Thanks for any help. John

Please explain what a "clear tube" is. Is this a transparent pipe that you installed downstream from the trap? Why did you install such a pipe?

I really don't under the problem. If the lavatory's filled with the stopper closed there shouldn't be any water leaving the trap and the clear tube until you pull the stopper. It sounds like you have A small amount of seepage past the stopper and that's where the trickle comes into play. Nothing to be concerned anbout or am I missing something? Regards, Tom
There is NO stopper. I am not trying to fill the sink. The clear rubber tube I installed because of the crazy angle between the trap and the wall.Quote:
