We have had two credit card companies put leins on our home, we filed bankruptcy and the property and also the credit cards were included in this bankruptcy. My question is, can the credit card companies make us pay if and when we purchase another property or was that all discharged in the bankruptcy.

Sounds like your attorney did not earn his money explaining anything.?

But if the house was included, then I will assume it was sold and the money used to pay debts? Is that correct.

If so then all of the secured debts ( liens on the home) were completely discharged and they can not come back after you.
