How long should I wait for my french press?
What's a good amount of time to wait after I have poured my near-boiling water into my french press before I start to 'press' the grains down?
    Thanks!

I always wait at least four minutes.
Be sure to stir before you press.

    Love those French Presses!

Thank you. I have since changed the GFI to a regular outlet and it is running perfectly. A to the safety, the fountain is in an enclosed area and to one goes near it. When I do to clean it, all power is off and I am nowhere near the outlet. OK?

That does not fix the problem though. It is only tempory and you will be doing it again in 2 months. What is a permanent solution?
