My right ear feels like there is cotton ball in it/ with liquid at the same time
Hi 3 weeks ago I woke up with jaw ache, (2 days before that I got a cap on my back molar) and the chills, but my skin was burning up, I also felt like throwing up. So I call into work and spent the day between the hot shower and bed, I could get warn enough with blankets, only the shower would make me warm enough. Anyway when I got out of the shower I just put a towel over my head and fell asleep without drying my hair off that happened about 8 or 9 times that day. When I woke up at 5pm my left ear was hurting, I went to a Dr. they gave antibiotics the left ear cleared but then my right ear started really hurting I went to a different Dr again they gave me eardrops, a different antibiotic, and some Tylenol 3 - it did not help. Went to a specialist yesterday, he said I have hearing loss - a very mild, he said I am almost right on nose having perfect hear I do think that I have some hearing loss but he said their equal loss in both ears.
But – in my right ear it feels like there’s a cotton ball in it and I still am not hearing normal. What I can hear is my breathing, my heart beat , ringing, did you ever hear somebody tapping on a mic – I hear that, mind you it comes and goes through out the day constantly. The Dr says I have to get used to it but I don’t want to I think he has missed something because sometimes during the day I can hear just normal. Any suggestions as to what to do? And they did a hearing test, pressure test, and look at my ear – by an ear, nose, throat specialist, I am only 39 year old.
