Okay, so I am almost 17 now. I remember for the last.. Well.. Lonnng time having weird feelings or thoughts that I have later come to know as possible OCD behaviour. If I touched one side of my face with my right hand, I would think there was a "score" or something, the right hand has one point, and the left hand had zero. THE SCORE HAS TO BE EQUAL! So I would touch the other hand on the opposite side of my face. And that's just one example. This line of thinking went for many things, my foot touching the floor, and the other one not, one hand in my pocket and the other one wasn't, etc, etc. I can't stepon lines or cracks on the road, not because of the riddle about the spine or the mothers back or whatever =P but simply because it just bothers me to step on them. These actions and thoughts are just a few among many, But when I think about it this didn't include the "obsessive" part of OCD. I don't obsess about these things.. It only bothers me when I think about it.
But lately a new thought has come to me.. And it's been every night for approximately a week. Before I go to bed every night, ALL doors in the house must be closed completely, and all doors leading outside MUST be locked (I live in a small town (6,000). This might not sound strange, but it's the reason I do it that's weird. I think that if I do not do the door routine that one of my sisters will die, or my 2 year old nephew will die. And these feelings are heightened if my sister is out at a party, or driving, etc. And I KNOW that that's stupid, and if something Did happen, it would be completely coincidental but I would feel so uneasy if I just left the doors open. That pretty much sums it up. So tell me what you think?
