The outside unit carrier 38YCB036300 , the fan will run but does not cool. Had a HVAC person take a look. He found the capacitor blownout. Changed the it but still the compressor did not come up. The freon gas meter did not show any change.
Says that the compressor is bad , the unit is 13 yr old.
I would appreciate any suggestion what can be done to breath life into it.
