I moved into an apartment in Austin, Tx and signed a three month lease which ended May 31st. I moved back to Oklahoma and am now being sent letters from a company stating I owe the apartment over three thousand dollars! Can they force me to pay even though my contractual obligation with them was over? I didn't have an automatic renewal clause in my lease either. What are my options?
