    Ontario criminal record limitations
I have a criminal record from when I was 19. I am 40 now , have held a security guard job for 8 year's and now they won't give me a license for the job. After 20 year's they still have it open. I want to know about a time limitation for a C.R to affect your life.

    Hello t:

If it's like the US, there ain't one. It lasts forever. If some employer wants to count it when you're 95, he can. But, let's hope you're not still looking at 95.

A criminal record unless it is sealed, pardoned or explunged, remains forever, there is no time for it to merely stop showing up
