If your hcg levels are 18000 what do that mean
I'm about 8 weeks along and I been spotting for always a week now I'm bleed but really only when I wipe myself. My HCP levels the 1 time was in the 18 000 the 2nd time was 19 000 and then my 3rd one was at 18 000 again, they said I might be losing the baby, can anyone help me out or the same thing happen to you and if so what was the turn out for you?
    Thank you

Did they mention anything about doing an ultrasound or have you already had one? HCG levels can have a very wide range of normal. A miscarriage is just one possible reason for a change in level. How far apart were the levels taken? Is this your first pregnancy?
If the bleeding and drop in level are due to a miscarriage, unfortunately there wouldn't be anything to do at this stage. Bed rest and taking it easy can sometimes help if it is what is considered a threatened miscarriage.
I wish you well, I know the worry and not knowing are difficult.

Yes I had one a week ago, all they seen was the sack I was 7 weeks. Every 2 days they were taken, no my second one. Thank you for your answer. It means a lot to me!
