    Need help on riddle
Ok I need the answer to this riddle. It has been bugging the crap out of me for like 2 weeks now and I can't find the answer so I turned to the internet. Here is the riddle.

A man walks into a bar and strikes up a conversation with the bartender. He finds out that the bartender has three kids.

"How old are your 3 kids?" the man asks.

"Well, their ages multiply to 72." responds the bartender.

"What do they add up to?" asked the man.

"The same as the number outside above the door to the bar." replies the bartender.

The man walks out, looks at the number above the door and comes back in.

"That's not enough information!" says the man.

"Oh yeah, the youngest just loves strawberry ice cream." replies the bartender with a smile.

HOW OLD ARE THE THREE KIDS?

There is NOT enough information to solve this problem.

What is the number outside of the bar? That will be helpful.

The riddle doesn't tell the outside number on a door, that is why it is a riddle. And sorry but no it isn't 2, 6, and 6 because it has to be "3" different number. I could only think of 1, 8, and 9. But I don't know if those are correct or not.

Where in the riddle does it say that the numbers on the door are all different?

The kids could also be 2, 4 and 9 as those numbers multiply to 72.

It's 2,6, &6. The guy says that's not enough information because only two sets of numbers that multiply to 72 add up to the same number: 3,3,8 and 2,6,6. The bartender gives it away when he says the youngest likes strawberry icecream because with 3,3,8 there isn't a youngest they are the same age.

    2, 6 and 6
    The bar is number 14
(2,2,2,3,3 are the composites of 72- the only combinations that add up to the same answer are 2,6,6 and 3,3,8)
As there is a youngest, not the 2 youngest, it has to be a 2yr old, and 6yr old twins.

I know its long time ago but I stubled over that because I like riddles...
    Ashmon is right
    The kids are 2, 6 and 6
    Two are twins

The number over the door says 26 that's why the man thinks its not enough information... he's confused he thinks there should be 3 numbers but two kids are the same age
For us the barkeeper says the "youngest", so we know its not 3,3 and 8

The answer is 2, 6 and 6 because it says "my youngest just loves strawberry ice cream" it implies that there is only 1 child that is the youngest. So that is why it can't be 3, 3 and 8.
