I'm looking for the same "cap"... Loew's, Home Depot, Progressive Lighting and Ace Hardware don't sell them or know where to get them. I'm not having much luck on line either. Sites will tell you how to remove them, but not where to get the "caps". Anyone have any suggestions?

Personally, I would just go to the Hampton bay web site and see if they have the plate you want. Normally it comes in the box with the fan.

Contact the manufacturer. Their number is in our sticky.
