Hi I have a burning feeling under the skin of my right thigh. It is sore to touch and feels like a burning bruise but over the whole thigh. It comes and goes but always the same leg. I am confused as to what it could be . Could you please help ?

Typically it's an over active nerve. Should be gone in a day or so, but if it remains for over a week you should seek medical attention.

Thank u for this advice . What treatments can be used to cure an over active nerve, and what causes it in the first place ?

There is nothing to cure it, and there really is no cause. It is a phenomenon that just comes and goes.

We call it a "hot spot." I've gotten them quite frequently actually and have discussed this with the doctor that I work for.

Thank you so much.. can I quickly ask another question that has been worrying me . When I was younger I used to get these cream coloures lumps that would travel up my throat and out my mouth . Sometimes I could cough them up as I felt them travelling up. You can squash them and they smell bad . Now I am 25 and I hanent had this since I was about 11. It is back again . But this time I can feel it in my throat and they won't come out. They are not travelling up . What are they . (always the right side under my jaw, on my neck). It is also making my breath smell bad
