    Bathroom light/outlet not working
I asked about this a while back and am finally getting to deal with it.

The light fixture and GFCI outlet in my bathroom are not working. Using a voltage meter I have verified that power is getting to the swtich for the light, and leaving it. However the switch is one that lights up itself and it does not light. I have traded the switch with another that was working and it still does not work so I don't think the switch is the issue.

I also confirmed power is gettting to the outlet, and I traded that out for a new one but still no luck.

It appears power is also getting to the light itself. I have one of those no contact voltage meters and although it did indicate there is power it was not as intense a repsonse as the other power sources.

So with power to fixture/switch/and outlet, and having replaced both the switch and the outlet I am at a loss for what the issue is. I considered I had them wired incorrectly but all were working for some time and then suddenly stopped working.

Is it possible there is power but not enough to power the fixture? Any suggestions before I call the electricitan?

Probably a loose connection in the neutral wire.

I agree, sounds like a dropped neutral. Check all connections where you find a white wire, twist wire nuts until they snug up.
