May tstat is not turning on or off my central air conditioning or my furnace I have to cut it on and off at the breaker box

You probably have a bad thermostat or a short in the one you have currently

Might be a bad T-stat or a fan relay sticking.

Disconnect the red wire from your tstat,, if it keeps running you will know its not the fought of the tstat,if it keeps it does keep running go to furnace and disconnect the hot/red wire that is going to tstat,if it then quits running you will know you have a short in tstat wiring between furnace and tstat
