Ac condensation line termination
Just bought a home. Everything in it redone and upgraded from electric to ac etc. been here 6 months and the ac drain line began backing up into the house. The air handler is in the middle of home in a closet, the line for the drain goes straight down through the slab. I vac out the line wich was quite clogged and still leaks, drip tray is clean and new but there is only a primary drain line for it as I mentioned above. All my research for the area says it is not allowed to drip into any sewage lines. But when I took the line out of the slab to look at it, I founf the line simply was pressed through slab into the soil underneath the home. Used a long wooden dowl and gently pressed down 2 feet to make sure I wasn't just looking at a clogged line. After passing through the ac slime that was there it was nothing but soil, no pipe no drain no nothing. I have no idea where the water has been going for 6 months under the slab but it is obvious the soil was absorbing most of it and the bacteria sludge as well. What do I do now? Run it to a drain in a wet wall 15 feet down the hall? I would hate to tear up a wall if I didn't need to.
