Our furnace has a pipe that comes down beside the furnace and has been leaking water. It fills a tupperware container within a day. Also our furnace keeps shutting off and we have no hot water. We normally fill our tank in February or march and it lasts us until winter. This year it ran out in June. When my husband does get the furnace started its very loud and sounds like its going to blow up. Please help!

Also when he started the furnace this time there was an odd smell almost like paint stripper mixed with a bon fire. He doesn't seem to be worried but we have 3 kids and I tend to worry a lot more than him.
