Hey so this my ffriends have started dating boys.We are going into high school soonand I have never dated a guy. I really want to.But... a) I am really embarrest to ask anyone b) my parents would kill me if I dated anyone. My step dad doesent even like me using makeup.

Don't worry about it. You don't need a boyfriend. Lots of girls think they do but you really don't. When you get in high school there will be more boys... older ones (be careful of them) and boys that are the same age. Stick with thoes. They will probably be in the same position as you. And don't focus too much on asking out a boy. If you like him, flirt and let him know. He will ask you out soon enough. Take it slow, rushing never helps.

I'm in high school, my parents didn't let me date for a really long time. But after talking to them they realized how mature I was. The guy can either wait, or leave. If you decide to talk to your parents about dating, ask for a specific date to where you can start dating. (mine was October 12th) but don't be surprised if they continue to extend the date. But remember that you are more important than what anyguy can give you. So if he doesn't decide to wait, let it go.

I'm going to be a junior in high school and I'm still not allowed to date. When you think about it, not having a boyfriend means you have more time for friends and fun, and you don't get hurt from cheating breakups and fights. Don't worry about being single, it only means you're free. Wait until you're a little bit older and talk to your parents, but remember to be mature because if your parents think you're being immature you get the instant "youre too young" speech!
