Did you recently have a black out in your home or a power surge? If you did then your TV is fried. I always put surge protectors on my TV, fridge, PC, etc.

Without actually taking a look at the TV it is very difficult to diagnose exactly what is wrong with the TV. Since it shuts off shortly after turning on, it is most likely, but not necessarily, a power supply issue. These typically aren't that expensive to fix.

If it is under warranty, contact Panasonic (http://www2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/wwwconsumer/customersupport/SupportContact.jsp).

If it is not under warranty, Panasonic might be able to point you to the nearest authorized repair center. Or you can search for a repair center yourself. If you have someone come to your home, expect around $100-150 USD for a diagnosis of what is wrong with the TV. I would expect between $70-130 USD for an in-store diagnosis.
