If you are talking on the phone with a friend while she is using the ouiji board, can the spirit get through to you too, or no since you are not actually using it? I'm worried because I didn't use salt and I wasn't the one talking to it, although I did say a prayer.

A Ouija board is a piece of wood, a toy. It's as harmless as nerf ball.

If you believe salt will stop the spirit then you will or can believe the spirit will or could. Belief is a big issue of allow things to happen

I doubt salt would have made a difference, prayer is always nice.

I vehemently advise against the usage of Ouija boards.

Since you said a prayer, I will assume you have a belief in God. Stay strong in your belief and allow his Divine light to protect you. Do NOT allow worry or doubt to creep in. Trust in God. So it be.

To the op... I believe in God and his power. I do not believe a Ouija board is any danger to you. It's a toy. Movies and so called psychics have glamorized the use of it. It does not bring forth evil powers.

For any young people who come here and see the answer some have given... I think they are very misinformed or either they believe in that garbage.

Evil exist in people and that's it. To any other who reads this don't be misled and get yourself in trouble and a depression or live in fear.. it has no power. This is what I say to you... don't believe a Ouiji board and don't think Satan lives in it... he doesn't.. he's too busy misleading people . I don't want anyone getting themselves into a spiraling depression thinking demons are after you because you used a Ouija board. Just trust in the lord and he will guide you.

There are many theories to how a ouija board works. Some people think one person moves it. If you think of it like an object such as a pendulum if you hold the pendulum straight down your hand will slightly move it to one side. The same may work for the ouija board. Some people think that it has to do with your sub conscience, or many other things.
Why are you afraid of spirits? Why was your friend using the ouija board?
