Wheres the best place to buy a purity ring?
I'm looking for a somewhat cheap purity ring. Anything under $100. Do you know of any place that I can get one? The ones I've been looking at are around $320+, which is out of my price range. Thanks!

Do you really need to wear one? What difference is a ring going to make?

You're 13, you shouldn't even be thinking of having sex just yet. No need to announce it to the world.

Some families have children wear them even younger because of how young kids are having sex now.

I still don't get it. So you wear a purity ring. Some guy convinces you to have sex with him, and you take it off. Many of the girls in my generation were virgins on their wedding night without having a purity ring to "remind" us to be chaste.

Good points, but it may be a family thing.

A friend of mine wasn't allowed to go near boys even as friends when we were younger unless she wore her purity ring

That's funny. I had my parents' frowning faces imprinted on my brain and flash repeatedly every time I got within ten feet of a boy. I guess that was my "purity ring."

Does this ring have some sort of special powers that makes you stay away from boys, away from sex?

    If not, save your money.

It's just jewelry, it won't help you stay pure, only you can do that.

Emo, I had a look at the site you link and this really tickled me: what-the-bible-say-about-purity LINK

How young does this kind of brain washing begin?

Couldn't find what you were looking at, but there are even purity balls in the richer parts of where I live. Dads dress up their daughters, they dance, and the girls (starting as young as babies) when they are old enough to sign, sign a contract about chasity

I wonder how many are virgins on their wedding night. I also wonder how long their first marriages last (and how many they end up with).

What does it say at the top of the page, under the header, when you click the link ;)

Hang on, that's just wrong as any contract entered into as a minor is completely unenforceable and unbinding, or am I missing the whole point here.

It's not a real contract, and do you mean the free pledge thing or where it says "this does not exist"

I think the contract is with God, so no age problem. :D

The Link says What The Bible Says About Purity, so I clicked it and the response was:

Well it made me chuckle anyway.
