How to let my boyfriend know that I want & or am OK with him holding my hand
My boyfriend and I have been going out for about 4 months. We were really good friends before we started going out. We will hug and say I love you. One time after we went skating he told me he was thinking about holding my hand but he didn't know what I thought about it, so he didn't. Then this lastime we went skating we would skate and sit by each other but he didn't hold my hand. We have also talked about kissing and that we don't want to pressure each other & we talked about kissing the next time were together but didn't. So how do I know if its wants to hold my hand, kiss, or what?

This is the sweetest post I have read in ages. What a nice, classy young lady you are. I think holding hands and a goodnight kiss would be fine. Do you know why I think that? You sound like a mature level headed girl. Wish we got post from more like you.:) About him wanting to kiss you... you may want to ask him if he wants to kiss you? The answer will be.. yes.

Okay. Thank you a lot. :) About me asking him if he wants to kiss me, like I said we've talked about it and he said he does want to but doesn't want to pressure me into doing something I don't want. So should I still ask him or just wait and see what happens?

Well you're fifteen and when you say goodnight at the door just ask him to kiss you.

Sometimes as much as we communicate with "hints" it doesn't always come across. Some "hints" need to be more like a sledgehammer. When it comes to relationships that can happen many times. From what you have said he sounds like he is waiting on you. So maybe you might kiss his cheeck at the door when you say goodnight. In any situation there is always passive aggressive going on. And you can't mind read either. But I think its safe to try that. Good Luck.

As to the holding hands, I don't see anything wrong with YOU taking his hand while you are walking or sitting together. Your boyfriend sounds like a gentleman (wish there were more of him) but I would also say either he's not reading your signals or your aren't sending them.

As for kissing, When he brings you home, close your eyes, lift your face and pucker your lips. I think he'll get the message.

I think that you taking his hand is a great idea. I bet he will think so too.
It is so rare anymore to find people your age acting in a ladylike and gentlemanly fashion. I admire your social graces and assure you that this behavior will be rewarding as long as you choose to do it.

Good luck and keep us updated on your progress.
