I watched this film years ago, so its probably from the early 90s or earlier. I don't remember the whole film but I'm hoping someone could help I.D it.

One of the main characters (I think) was a young girl who was in a school or college setting. She did several things that led to her being disliked and ended up with no friends. Then she met and became friends with another girl. The only scene I remember with any sort of clarity was when a teacher, or someone, commented that it was an odd friendship, because one of the girls refused to speak to anybody else, whilst nobody would speak to the other one.

I know it's a terrible description, and ridiculously vague, but if anyone could help I would be really grateful :)

I don't know what film it is - but as a suggestion - why don't you go online and research the programming of the network you watched it on? As long as you know when you watched it - you should find the name of it in their program schedule :)
