Our refrigerator is a Maytag MFF2557HEW. We have tried cleaning out the condenser coils underneath, tried checking for a thermostat but found none (is the model too new) and also tried looking for ice chunks/frost. However, there was nothing visible... we don't know if it's the defrost setting that isn't working, or the compressor, or maybe its something completely different. We know the fridge is getting power cause lights will still turn on... we are now turning to dry ice to keep food from spoiling but it may be too late. Any help or tips would be appreciated!

Maybe the thing to freeze/fridgeorate the stuff burnt out from the inside . :O you should try calling somebody to fix it or if that doesn't work buy a new one. :(

Sounds jazzy to me... what series you have.

Are the fans running? Defrost timer is probably built into the circuit board.
