    Natural gas smell
A few days ago we started smelling what we think is natural gas. We called the gas company and they came and checked the stove and furnace room for any trace of gas and CO, but detected none. However a few times a day we still get that smell. We live in the basement apartment, the rest of the house hasn't noticed any smell. Could the gas be getting in to our apartment somewhere other then around the stove or furnace room? Should we call the gas company again? Is there something else the smell could be?

    Thanks

Call the landlord,, be sure to well vent the apt. gas leaks are very dangerous, it could be leaking from any fitting that the gas flows through

Don't give up on this one. Although it may be something else causing the smell, if it smells like gas, keep calling people until the source of smell is located. As wmproop already mentioned, gas leaks can be deadly, definatley not something to be taken lightly. Good luck and please do let us know what is found.
