My boyfriend and I had sex on the 4th of July. On the 8th of July I started to spot a brownish color. There was noticeable cramping on the right side of my uterus only. This spotting has been happening off and on since and I have noticed that I have a strange, metal like taste in my mouth a lot of the time. I am on birth control but have skipped my period and moved it around so I am unsure of when I actually ovulate. Though I had just had my period the week before we had sex so I was not expecting it for another 2 1/2 weeks. Could I be pregnant?

Any time you have sex you can get pregnant. I don't understand what you mean by being on birth control but skipping a period and moving it around.

At any rate I would wait until I actually miss a period before attempting an HPT.

I agree. It could be you messing with the birth control. I think you have either changed pills or something to that effect.
