Ok, first, I do have a job. But, we have been put on temporary lay off and will be getting temporary unemployment. I have to pay $178 a month for my probation, but I can't pay it the first time I go which is in 6 days. So, my question is, would they let me go this first time and just pay as much as I can on it... then pay the difference on NEXT month's?

I don't think they will let you pay only what you can and then catch up the next month. It doesn't work that way. You will have to get the $l78 dollars for them.

You MAY be able to work out a deal. But, if it was me, I wouldn't even try. Of ALL your creditors, THIS ONE can put you in jail. So THIS is the ONE I'd make sure got paid.

Don't even think about it. Find the money somewhere to pay it each month. This way your PO won't have any reason to violate you. Why so much monthly? Are you paying off some kind of fine or restitution along with your monthly PO fee? Is your drug testing fee in that monthly amount as well?
