Evictions work the same whether there is a written lease or not. Since your tenants pay by week, you are only required to give them a weeks notice that you are terminating their tenancy. If they do not vacate within that week, you then go to your local housing court to file for an eviction order.

Is this a room in your home that you rent ? Or do you own a rooming house ? Is the zoning for the house permitted for a rooming house or multi family
