What is wrong with my dog?
I have a 12 year old pug who is showing some weird symptoms. His fur used to be smooth, but it has changed to more of a fluffy texture. His fur has also become quite greasy. He has always had pretty dry skin, so I try not to bath him more than once a month, but lately he becomes greasy after just a day or two, and he still has dry skin flaking off. The last thing that I just noticed today is that there are chunks in his urine and his penis seems like it may be lumpy. He does not seem like he is in any pain, but there must be something going on. Can you help?

It could be old age, but it could be something more serious. Always best to have him checked by the vet. Especially when they are at an older age.

Dogs fur will change as they age, just like humans, they will take on a different feel and texture, even a different smell. But any sudden change should be once'd over by a vet. And especially if there are chunks in the urine. This can indicate any thing from a simple bladder/kidney infection to something more serious such as prostate, kidney, or stomach cancer.

    Is he neutered?

Yes, he was neutered when he was about 6 months old.
