Before visa expiry date I left dubai on some emergency reason,but I handedover my passport to the company GM(INDIA) to cancell my visa.He was told me that he is going to handedover my passport by tomorrow and the visa was cancelled but on passport they won't make the cancellation stamp.
Howmuch believable this and what is the remedy for that?

Cancellation can be made without original passport. If you already notify your employer about resignation, your visa will be terminated within 10 day, passport is not needed.
