    Making Friends?
I've been going to my school for 2 years now. And I try my hardest to be friends with everyone. (get along with everyone instead of being in little groups) and then when I want to hang out with someone, or go do something, I can never seem to find anyone. I feel as if no one wants to be with me. I don't have a repuation. But all the girls are like boys boys boys, and my days with boys are over. I'm tired of them. So please help me to be able to make more friends. Its summer, and I've just been laying around doing nothing. And when I do go out and do things, I never am really happy.

Join a sport. You will get a lot of friends that way.

How have you been hurt? Have people been bad friends to you? One more question, how old are you? I just wanted to get an age group for a better understanding.

    Hi, dynamitegirl14!

"Water seeks its own level". That's a basic law of physics.

It's the same way with people. People will tend to hang around people who are like themselves.

What are some of the things that you like to do, please?

    Thanks!

Not really hurt by friends, hurt by guys. Just things hurt me too much. And that's probably cause of the past with guys. Nothing bad with them. They just ignore me, when I get attached cause I'm not close with my mom and dad. Trust me, I have a good head on my shoulders. And I think I'm a lot smarter when it comes to life, with people my age. I'm 14. I'm not like ugly, or anything. I don't know what's wrong. It seems like everyone won't even give me a chance, and is leaving me. Everyday, I loose friends. It's because I'm too nice.I'm sure. And at my age, girls are just all being fake, changing themselves to fit in. I love playing sports, and singing.

I really don't know myself that well. I'm too busy trying to get to know other people, I use to change myself for other people. But I can't even imagine what people think of me. I know I look really desperate.

Are you in a chorus or choir, please?

No I'm not. I'm kind of nervous about doing that. I just sing at home all the time.

If you already sing at home all of the time, then I bet that you'd be good singing in a group.

Anyone who joins any kind of group is most likely going to be at least somewhat nervous the first few times being in the group.

Do you also play a musical instrument besides singing, please?

Soccer, Baseball, volleyball or join a swim team. There is plenty out there for you. YMCA YWCA etc. If you go to church there is a VBS near you Im sure. There is a lot to choose from once you start getting an idea of direction you want to go. From their friendships will blossom from being held by a common thread and branch out to where you want it to go.

Depending on where you live, there also might be opportunities to try out for community theater productions where they might be looking for people your age to be part of the cast.
