I have a 12 yr on lab who is in poor health. He is in his last days. I have noticed this past week that his skin under his eyes and around his private area is turning dark almost black. He hasn't eaten or drank any since yesterday morning. Why is his skin turning dark? Thank you

My dog had this too, it was a type of skin rash (I can't remember what it was called), we took him to the vet and got some cream to put on it. I'd advise taking him to the vet and asking them, it could be more serious though.

The discoloring could be from age, but like Emily said, at his age; it's best to seek a vet.
