Don't remember anything about the show except for it was on in the early 90's. The only character I remember is the one that said "smarty had a party and nobody came" He was maybe 40 with blonde hair and maybe blue eyes and I think he was a kind of a jerk and maybe took place in an office. I feel like it was on around the same time as Herman's head but it wasn't it. So maybe on Fox or possibly USA network. I hope someone can help because this is driving me crazy! Thanks for all help.

The Drew Cary Show

Thanks for your reply but it wasn't Drew Cary but that's the only thing I found on Google. Way before Drew Cary. It was on or around the time of shows like Herman's Head, In Living Color, and Get A Life. I think the man (the blond hair guy who said the line) was just a supporting character def. not the star of the sitcom. He was dressed very well. I remember he was wearing a light suit with a pink shirt or pink tie, his hair parted on the side. I believe he may be an actor since the 60's or before. The sitcom was a comedy and that's about all I can recall about it but the saying stuck because my daughter was 3,4, or 5 when I heard it and I've said it to her though out the years! So the year would have been 1990,1991, or 92!
