    Relationship help
I have been with my boyfriend for 8 years, it started when I was only 15. We have always been together but recently have been moving in different directions. Our sex life has been nonexistent for over a year now and neither one of us is trying put the spark back. We never see eye to eye when it comes to going out with friends, he doesn't like to but I do. I am starting to feel like we are driffting. Could we just be growing into different people who aren't right for each other?

You have spent most of your teenage years together, you have both grown into adults together and perhaps at this stage in the game, you both have become more like brother and sister?

Unless you both want to be in a relationship, unless you both are willing sit down and work out the problems, maybe the time has come to part ways.

It will be hard for you both as most of your growing up memories will have each of you in them, but now as adults, you both can move on with your lifes, and into a new era.

    Its make or break time.

    Quick answer is 'yes.'

The longer answer is: are you okay with going your separate ways or do you want to try rebuilding the relationship?

IF you want to try to rebuild the relationship, can you sit down and discuss the issues and compromises with each other or with the help of a relationship counselor? It would take hard work on both of your parts, but it can be done.

It does sound like you're growing apart, have you and the b/f discussed where you want to go with the relationship, if not then maybe now is the time to do this.

8 years is a long time to be in a relationship especially for 2 so young as yourselves, maybe you have become a habit to each other.

I feel you do need to talk this over together and make some decisions together about what you both want for the future, be that together or separately.

    Good Luck...

I thinks its more like growing up, not apart, and you both want different things than you did when you were kids. This is when you talk, and make a decision as to where you both want to go.
