Wiring diagram rheem RHSLHM3017JA

On every unit the wiring diagram is installed by the factory as required by law. Usually it is located behind th service access door on the unit.

I have a rheem heatpump unit when the unit goes into defrost stages the united goes into aircondition stage and blows out cold air until the unit swift back to heat.I would like to know how to make the heat strips come on at that time.

Have a buddy in Orlando that is telling me he has no heat. He has a 4 ton 13 seer straight cool/electric heat system. My question is he said, his low voltage wire to the 2 stage heat sequincer(relay) are hanging free in the unit and are not connected. I said, they should be connected to the CB(control Board) and then you tie in your w1 and w2 from the t-stat to the provided low voltage w1 and w2 connections on the CB. So where do the bk/w and bl/w wires that feed the heat relay coil connect too? To the CB panel right?
