Light switches on it own on Harbor Breeze fan
We had a harbor breeze fan (Harbor Breeze 52" Brushed Nickel Avian Ceiling Fan) installed at our home by the previous owner. We found that that the fan did not have the halogen bulb, so I got the a 100W halogen bulb for the fan. Now that the bulb is installed I notice that the bulb switches on it own even after I switch it off using the remote. I think there is some short but I don't have any clue as to how to dismantle this fan and correct this problem. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If the light is turning itself on and off at random, it could be RF inteferance. Try changing the dip switches on the fan and remote. See:
