    How do I know...
    I was going out with a guy who I really like/love. We went out for only 8 days then he dumped me. He broke up with me on Friday of last week. When we went back to school he looked at me when I was talking to a friend. He looked sad. He wanted me to write him a note. I don't know why. He had a girlfriend why did he tell her to write him. He kept staring at me. Always messed around. He broke up with his girlfriend on Tuesday or was. Then he told me he loves me. How do I know that he's not lying??


    My school was having a dance and I went with my friends. The guy who broke my heart went too. My friends went up to him and asked him if he'd go out wit me and they said he said yes. The whole time I was dancing he would watch and stare.


    How do I know if he really likes or loves me still? Does he have any feelings for me?
    HOW DO I KNOW??

    First, whatever this is, it isn't love.

    Second, he's young, your young he's confused, your confused.

    You sound like you were his back up plan if the other girl of 3 or 4 days didn't work out. It didn't so now he's feeling stupid or guility or both for dumping you after your 8 day likeaffair.

    Here's the bottom line let him go. You can do better.

    It is not love. It is not really a relationship. It is a crush maybe but nothing really there.

    Move on and wait for another 8 years. When more matured then you might find somebody

    Truly loves you and by then you will know the meaning of true love.

    Why do you want someone around your age. You are being told the truth about your situation. You asked the question but can't swallow the pill. Please concentrate on school and worry about the other stuff later in life. Enjoy your life now. Enjoy it now, because it will just get more complicated when your older.

    So what is your biggest worry. Your girlfriend hitting on you or this guy?

    Lot of drama isn't it?

    That would suggest to most of us that perhaps it is time to focus on other things. e.g. your homework!

    You like each other.. that's it, you messed around.. that's it, don't think too much into what you guys "have".. I'm sure you think you love him, but to be honest when you finally fall in love with someone you will know you have never loved before, that won't happen for a very long time believe me, I am only 20... you have to think like a guy right now while your young, you know these dudes are really playa playas and you have to take everything for what it is or you will feel stupid and mad

    For real, 8 days is like years when your young, but life is to short to waist your time on one boy.. yes BOY.. play the field.. when I was 14 I had around 5 different boyfriends, not saying to have sex with all of these boys, just talk on the phone and have 2 that you can make out with.. I'm telling you, and if the find out and get mad, you still have 3 other boys to talk to... enjoy life before you really have things to worry about, like tuition loans and bills bills bills...

    Your on! I'll take that challenge any time. Hopefully after you get used again, you might just think to yourself, "Hmmm I wonder how everybody else saw this coming but I didn't? I wonder if maybe, just maybe there's some way that other people might just know a thing or two more than I do about human relationships?"     You cannot get dumped after eight days. It states right here in the "Official Teenager Book of Love" the it takes ten, not eight. ;)

    So perhaps you misunderstoond him so maybe you can still be friends after all?

    Don't make a heavy going of it, Jasmine Girl! There is plenty of that coming at you soon enough. Be light, have fun, learn a lot and find yourself. And wear all that angst with a dash of grace, okay? :)

    I am your age. I am close anyway. Im 14, its true its not love, unless when you are with him you feel your heart thumping faster. You want to be with him all the time. You wake up in the middle of the night thinking about him. You CARE about him, you may love him, you may not necessarily love him as a boyfriend yet, but if you really care about ahimand are concerned about this issue, I think that you love him. THis is how my life goes, unfortunately, I'm too shy to even say anything about my feelings to my crushes.
