    Computer powers on but flashing green lights
    Hi, I have a Dell Inspiron 1100 that powers on, but LED status lights are showing ( green and orange), can anyone help me.

    Flashing green light and orange light.. there are three LED lights and only the first and third lights are flashing with the first being green the middle light doesn't light up and the last is orange flashing.

    Ok I understand the light situation but what about the PC itself? What does it do?

    The hard drive seems to have stopped working. Try booting off any CD and see what happens. Let us know.
