I can't get my jet pump to prime and my foot valve is working correctly
5 days ago my hubby was drilling holes for a garage and hit our water line he repaired the break in the feed and return line, we tried to prime the pump and we cannot get the pressure to build like it should. We have checked to repairs to make sure they are not leaking... nothing 5 days later we still have no water.we have checked the foot valve and it seems to be working properly but we still can't get water... We have a deep well pump that goes to our spring.. HELP please

By that you mean that you've filled the impeller cage with water and it still won' pump to pressure? If you can fill the impeller cage and it holds water then the problem's with the pump. Is that the case here? Because if the impeller housing doesn't hold water you either have a leak in the suction line or a faulty foot valve,
Let me know what's going on. Regards, Tom
